Support for families who are new to Canada
Welcome to our SoKind registry! This website compiles our list of items that would be helpful to support families who are new to Canada. We will update this list as needs arise so please check in regularly.
Donation of household items
We are working closely with a wonderful family of volunteers who is collecting and re-distributing these items to families:
Beds / Box Springs
Chairs
Coffee tables
Cookware
Couches
Dishes
Linens
Small kitchen appliances
Tables (no desks)
Utensils
If you have any of these items to donate, please email Emily at welcomehomeptbo@outlook.com
We are not able to store and sort items beyond what is listed, so please visit Habitat for Humanity ReStores if you have more items to donate.
If you would like to 'claim' a gift, click on the 'Give this gift' button so the gift will be claimed in your name, and so that we will not receive any duplicates. Registry items can be dropped off at the NCC office (221 Romaine Street, Peterborough, K9J 2C3) between 10am and 4pm, Mondays to Fridays.
Thank you for welcoming our newest residents to Canada with your generosity and kindness!
