Helping Our Loved One
Breast Cancer Patient

CANCER IS EXPENSIVE! Here is an example of a cancer registry and one of the many ways that loved ones can help cancer patietns. I encourage you to designate a close friend or family member to manage this registry for the patient. It is important to customize the registry to meet the patient's specific needs for specific stages of therapy (be sure to think of what might be needed at later stages of treatment and post treatment). Examples of other items that can be added include: cold therapy gloves/booties, good moisturizer, eye mask (for sleep/relaxation), shower chair, sound machine, button up or velcro shirts, cozy pajamas (PJ Harlow and barefoot dreams are great), and many more. Feel free to use this template to care for yourself or your loved one. Make a free account and customize this registry to meet the needs of the cancer patient.
Cancer sucks and is very stressful. Feel free to help Sassy pamper herself with manicures, pedicures, and other ways to relax.
Sassy will be using cold cap therapy during treatment. This will require getting dry ice before each treatment (~$60-$80 each round), special shampoo and conditioners, and other extensive care needs.
