Erin Refugee Action
Welcome to the Erin Refugee Action registry! We are a group of community members in the Town of Erin who have sponsored two Syrian refugee families to date. This time we are sponsoring a two generational family, originally from Afghanistan, who will be arriving very soon. (Parents, their daughter, son-in-law and grandson--aged 3).
This registry is aimed at collecting items to equip the incoming families in their new home in Canada. Thanks to our wonderful community all the items needed for our first and second family were fulfilled, thank you!!!! Have a look at our list and consider whether you have any gently used or new items that you could pass along to these new families.
We would like them to have a fresh start in Canada so when considering the donations of used goods please think of it as if you were giving it to a close family member. In other words if it's good enough for your family it will be good enough for our sponsored families!!!
There are also options below to donate gift cards--see items on the registry with a dollar figure that will help the family get around and build a life here in Canada.
HOW TO GIVE: Simply select an item and follow the directions! We will follow up with you by email to make the arrangements for contactless pick up or drop off.
