The Danville Common Wishlist
This is a living wishlist for The Danville Common, a growing experiment in mutual aid located in Danville, Pennsylvania.
We’re building community care that’s secular, local, and human: neighbors helping neighbors without paperwork or judgment.
Some of what’s listed here costs money. Most of it doesn’t. All of it matters.
These things won’t be shipped to us. It’s more of a pledge or a promise to help when and how you can.
Our Cash App is $TheDanvilleCommon if you’d like to contribute funds, or you can drop off donations at any of our Community Exchange pop-ups (or just message us to arrange a drop-off, we’re flexible!).
A porch, a parking lot, a quiet corner in town where a pop-up free store could live for a few hours or a few days.
A dry, visible space indoors where we can keep a stocked shelf year-round.
To help us register as a nonprofit and open a permanent free store.
A box of pasta, a bar of soap, a pack of diapers, a tube of toothpaste... the things that seem ordinary until you don’t have them.
For whoever walks up cold.
Because people doing hard things need to hear “keep going.”
Post, tag, or mention The Danville Common online- it spreads faster than any flyer.
Someone with a space, a resource, or the power to say yes.
Of your own experience with community, care, or survival.
We’re secular, but good energy always counts.
to turn care into structure - shelves, signs, space, and whatever comes next.
whatever that looks like for you... in your home, on your block, online, or in spirit.
