WU Blessings in Boxes 2021

Welcome to the 2021 Women United Blessings in Boxes Giveback Opportunity! This is where you can sign up to sponsor one of 50 children in need of holiday gifts this year. These are children at Hillandale and Upward Elementary Schools or Hendersonville Middle School, and their immediate siblings.
Please select a child you would like to sponsor by clicking "give this gift." Siblings in the same family are identified by the same number, i.e., #101 Girl #1, #101 Girl #2, etc. If you would like to select one child, please click the one you want. If you would like to select a whole family, please select all the children that have that family’s number. The description box lists what has been requested and clothing sizes. We ask that donors try to purchase several items on a child’s wish list. Some donors enjoy shopping together for one child to get most of the requested items.
Please provide your name and email address, and Sarah will send a confirmation email as well. Do not click the “Surprise” box or we will not know your selection.
It is very important that each child's unwrapped gifts be in a sealed garbage bag. Each child must have their own bag. Place a paper tag with the family number and child number (For example, #114 Girl #1) inside the bag AND place an additional tag on the outside of the bag with this same information. Please purchase a roll of wrapping paper for each child's gifts as well, and bring that with you when you drop off the gifts.
We will have a drive-through drop off event between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 2nd at St. James Episcopal Church in downtown Hendersonville. You will be greeted by a fellow Women United member who will accept your gifts and get them checked in, and you will receive a small gift of appreciation from Women United and United Way! For anyone who wishes to gather outdoors in person and enjoy food and drink, you can then park your car at St. James and meet us at the tents set up in the church parking lot. Wear appropriate outdoor clothing!
