Christmas Wishes
Heather Prince Doss & Eric Doss
December 25, 2016
Hi, Friends and Family, We are pledging to have a simpler holiday season this year -- one with more fun and less stuff, more joy and less stress, and more love and less waste. But we also know that gift giving brings joy! We have created this registry of gifts that are meaningful, enjoyable, or useful for us while also being good for the world. We hope our little registry also adds to your joy in giving.
This website compiles our list of gift requests, but does not sell the gifts. If you would like to 'claim' a gift, be sure to click on the 'Give this gift' button so the gift will be claimed in your name, and so that we won't receive any duplicates. We won't be informed when a gift is chosen or who is giving it. You can follow our instructions on how or where to give the gift. Thank you!
We live in a diverse community with many minorities who are worried about their rights in the coming year. A gift to the ACLU contributes to legal justice for our neighbors near and far.
We love using our camper, but even more we love spending time with friends and family. Join us for a short camping trip here in New England. We'll bring the s'mores!
Heather loves to play board games, but we don't own very many. Do you have any that you're ready to recycle? We'd love Monopoly, Settlers of Catan, and other kinds of strategy games. We'd also enjoy Taboo, Cranium, or other group/team games. Card games are fun, too!
We love visiting America's National Parks (including the one right here in Lowell) and we want to make sure they are preserved for future generations.

Keeping up with the news is important to us, and this is a paper that we like and trust.
Heather loves getting her toes "done," but she really loves having an hour to sit and chat with a friend! Choose your favorite place and check the calendar to see where we're traveling this holiday.
Eric has dreams of turning some wasted space in our back yard into a raised bed garden. If you have time or expertise to share, he would love your help and enjoy your company.
We'll log over 2,600 miles this holiday season to visit family and friends. Help us get where we're going with gift cards for gasoline or fast food: Subway, Arby's, and Ruby Tuesday are some road trip standbys. Other road trip support ideas: homemade snacks, audio books, your favorite album, or podcast suggestions.
We're heading to Ireland next spring, and we would love some books to help us plan our trip. Used and secondhand books are ideal, as long as they're recent enough to be relevant. And if you've been to Ireland, we'd love your tips or suggestions!
If you prefer more tangible gifts, Heather loves this little birdhouse made by local craftspeople from local resources. It will add a little New England charm to our back yard.

So Wallace might not actually love this gift, but his parents will! We don't take him to the groomer too often, but when we do he looks fantastic! There's no way to give online for this, so if you want to give Wallace a grooming, please indicate to us so we can use your gift appropriately.
We have many causes that are important to our hearts, and we know our friends and family do, too. Give a gift to an organization that you believe in, and then tell us all about it over a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Live far away? Let's Skype!
